Sheila Black's poems have been published in numerous journals, including Poet Lore, Ellipsis (where she was awarded the Ellipsis Prize in 2001) and Heliotrope, which recently awarded her its Editor's Choice Award. In 2000, she was the co-winner of the Pellicer-Frost Frontera Prize, and in 2012 she was awarded the Witter Bynner Fellowship.
