Praise for Century’s Son (Knopf, 2002)

  • Unexpectedly deep and effective...—The New York Times Book Review
  • Stunning...Cross Anne Tyler with Michael Chabon and you’d get a cast something like the one Boswell has bred. —Milwaukee Journal Sentinel
  • Like some alchemist, Boswell uses language to invoke a depth of feeling out of all proportion to the simplicity of his words. —Booklist, Starred Review

  • Praise for Crooked Hearts (Knopf, 1993)
  • A delicately balanced ensemble piece that both gives us deftly drawn portraits…and delineates the ever-shifting bonds of love, hate, guilt and envy that connects them. —New York Times
