Coyote &

Linda Hansen, teacher
I started teaching elementary school art in 1972, taught for eight years, stayed home to raise my children for eight years and then went back to teaching in 1988. I went to an art conference in Santa Fe that summer and found myself picking up all of Joe's tapes at the Palace of the Governors. I thought that my students would like listening to stories while they did their art work. I am now on my second set of tapes because the first ones wore out!

I have played your stories everyday to every class over and over. My students and I love them and if I go a day without playing a tape they beg me to put on the Coyote tapes! I can't begin to tell you how your stories have helped me and my students. Art can be a noisy class but not when your stories are playing! My fifth graders have been listening to them for five years daily!!! We feel like we know you. You have many fans in Jefferson City, Missouri.
