How To Schedule Joe Hayes FOR SCHOOL VISITS
Joe Hayes is very popular as a visiting author and storyteller. He believes that sharing stories is a natural human pleasure, a delight to both the listener and the teller. He has delighted and inspired children for more than 22 years. In addition to telling stories, many of them bilingual, Joe talks to students about storytelling, writing, listening and using their imaginations.
FULL DAY SCHOOL VISIT:
Joe gives six 30-minute presentations. In an elementary school, that's roughly one per grade level. Or, if schools prefer, he will give four 45-minute presentations.
HALF DAY VISIT:
Joe gives three 30-minute or two 45-minute presentations.
TO SET UP A VISIT TO YOUR SCHOOL:
Contact Joe for fees and availability. In order to make travel more efficient, Joe tries to set up a block of three or four days per trip. After choosing a mutually convenient date, he may ask you to contact other schools in your area to see if they would like to have him visit at the same time. This also helps to spread out travel expenses. For school visits, we recommend that you contact Joe three to six months in advance. E-mail joehayes@newmexico.com or FAX him at 1-505-982-2954 .
