So Who Does What?
BOBBY BYRD is the co-publisher and the vice-president of Cinco Puntos Press, Inc. It was his big idea to start Cinco Puntos Press in the first place. He is a poet whose books include: Pomegranates, Get Some Fuses for the House, On the Transmigration of Souls in El Paso, and the most recent White Panties, Dead Friends, and Other Bits & Pieces of Love. He is also the co-editor of The Late Great Mexican Border and Puro Border. Recently Bobby did a compilation CD with Jim Ward (from the rock group Sparta) called How Will We Know When We're Dead.
LEE BYRD is the co-publisher, senior editor, and president of Cinco Puntos Press, Inc. She is the author of My Sister Disappears, The Treasure on Gold Street, Riley's Fire (one of People Magazine's top ten books of 2006), and Lover Boy, a bilingual counting book for young children.
JOHN BYRD is the Marketing Director and the C.F.O at Cinco Puntos Press, Inc. John was the co-editor Puro Border. He grew up with the press, was one among three of our original shipping clerks, all connected to us by blood. Now he has returned after seeing the world and getting several degrees to transition his parents into their old age.
MARY FOUNTAINE is currently in charge of our shipping and handling department. In her spare time, she is known as Cactus Mary and under that fair name, she makes all sorts of handmade soaps and lotions. For more about her great smelling handiwork, check out http://www.cactusmary.com/.
